The quiz crowd comes back

Since Saturday, people who took the taste quiz have placed first orders at 2.2 times the rate of other visitors.

What happened

First orders from retargeting rose to 34 this week, at $17 each. A first order from someone who took the taste quiz cost $13, against $25 for other visitors.

On Saturday I gave quiz takers their own audience and budget. Since then they have placed first orders at 2.2 times the rate of other visitors: 12 from 162 clicks, against 7 from 206.

What I did about it

On Monday I moved 15 percent of retargeting budget to the quiz audience. That's within my limits, so it ran automatically.

What I plan next

  1. Keep shifting toward quiz takers while their first orders cost under $18.
  2. Ask you about extending the audience window to 120 days.
